Gretton Court

Gretton Court, Melton Mowbray is located in the town centre close to local shops, GP Surgery and all the other amenities Melton has to offer. It consists of 40 studio flats (with own bathrooms and showers) suitable for single people and two flats suitable for couples.

The scheme is linked to a two-way communication system (Lifeline), which can escalate concerns and issues to the Care provider on site, the next of kin or emergency services, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. There is an Independent Living Officer on site between the hours of 8am and 4pm (Monday to Friday) who supports the tenants, arranges activities and looks after the Health and Safety of the site. In addition to this there is Care provided on site, which is commissioned by Leicester County Council.

Daily contact is made with residents to check on their wellbeing and visits are arranged for the more vulnerable residents. There is a communal lounge where residents can meet for social activities and coffee mornings, a lift, laundry room and one guest room. In addition to this, one hot meal is provided by the kitchen staff that are on site.

Activities

We hold a range of activities that our supported by our Independent Living Officer. These include; seated exercises, bingo, film nights, craft events, and all big occasions catered for.

Care

There are 24 hour carers on site which is commissioned by Leicester County Council and the provider of this care is Diamond Health Care.
