Our digital offer

The Digi-suite is a free service offering the use of computers to everyone in the community. It’s open to anyone who feels comfortable using a computer independently from our base at Phoenix House as part of the Community Support Hub.

One-to-one support is available for those who need guidance on using the computer or completing online tasks. For allocated support please attend the Wednesday Digi-Clinic sessions.

Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
 
The suite may be unavailable if booked for specific courses.

The Digi-clinic (one-to-one support)

As part of our services, we also offer a free Digi-Clinic at the Community Support Hub. This drop-in service provides one-to-one support for anyone needing help with digital tasks, every Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Digital Suite.

We can help with:

  • Using laptops to complete tasks independently
  • Answering questions about council services and digital issues.
  • Housing applications.
  • Advice on benefits applications.
  • Dedicated support for those in vulnerable or challenging personal circumstances.
  • Resolving issues with energy accounts.
  • Applying for blue badges and bus passes.

Digi-clinic opening hours:

Every Wednesday, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at The Digi-Suite, The Community Support Hub, Phoenix House. 

Rural sessions: 

The first Wednesday of every month we run a rural Digi-clinic in Bottesford. Our officers bring digital equipment for resident to use free of charge and are on hand if anyone needs additional support.

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Bottesford Parish rooms.

Hiring the Digital Suite

The Digi-Suite can be booked by organisations and community groups to run courses that help residents with training and digital skills.

Included in the digital kit:

  • 10 laptops with essential software installed
  • Reliable Wi-Fi access
  • Large monitor for presentations
  • Computer mice
  • Laptop risers
  • Portable printer/scanner
  • Ear defenders for neurodiverse users who prefer them
