Parking for motorcycles

Facilities for parking a motorcycle are available at Wilton Road, Chapel Street, St Mary's Way, Parkside and Burton Street Annex car parks.

Motorcyclists must adhere to the restrictions in limited waiting bays and cannot park on double or single yellow lines, in taxi ranks, bus stops, disabled or loading bays.

Charges for motorcycle parking

Motorcyclists may park in designated motorcycle parking bays free of charge for the maximum time limit on the tariff board.

If there are no designated motorcycle parking bays in the car park you may use other parking bays but must pay and display or pay by phone. 

Residential parking

In residential parking areas, motorcyclists can park if in possession of a valid parking permit, but please park sensibly, preferably not taking up the whole length of a bay area.
