Melton Borough Council is changing the way our Development Management service works to provide a better, faster, and more consistent planning service.
We know some customers have experienced delays in getting decisions or updates, and we’re sorry for the frustration this has caused. We are taking action to fix this.
From December 2025 to March 2026, we are using a new approach to clear the backlog and improve processes, during this period, you will notice some changes.
You can view and comment on applications online 24 hours a day, seven days a week using planning online. You are also able to view decisions on applications.
All submissions are available to view. Some documents may not include their full content due to legal and regulatory restrictions.
