We are currently carrying out a major upgrades to our planning system. During this time, we are unable to access planning records, process planning applications, or respond to many planning enquiries.

Planning Service System Upgrade
We are carrying out major upgrades to our Planning and Enforcement management system from 21 August to 28 August 2026.
During this period:
- Customers will be unable to access planning records through the public planning portal.
- We will be unable to validate, process or determine planning applications.
- Planning Enforcement casework will be affected.
- We will be unable to respond to many planning enquiries where access to system records is required.
We have been preparing carefully for this upgrade and we're working hard to keep disruption to a minimum.
This upgrade forms part of our ongoing Planning Service improvement programme and will help us provide a more reliable and efficient service in the future.
Whilst system access is expected to be restored after 28 August, customers may continue to experience some delays during the week commencing 31 August 2026 whilst officers complete testing, validate data and work through the backlog created during the outage.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.
Search for an application
You can view and comment on applications online 24 hours a day, seven days a week using planning online. You are also able to view decisions on applications.
All submissions are available to view. Some documents may not include their full content due to legal and regulatory restrictions.

You can submit a comment If you submit your comments online, you will be timed out of the system after 20 minutes of non-activity and will lose your text. If you are submitting a lengthy comment, we would suggest that you type your comment in advance and then copy and paste it into the online form.
