Street Cleansing

We regularly clean all streets throughout Melton Borough.

Our street cleansing is carried out on a 12 weekly cycle.

Busy streets, such as Melton Mowbray town centre, are cleaned more often.

The town centre is cleaned three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

What can I do if I think my street is dirty?

If you feel your street is not cleaned to a satisfactory standard you can report it to us.

When you report a problem, please give as much information as you can, including the street address, the type debris that needs to be cleared, such as leaves, glass or mud.

Where possible, please include photos of the debris to be cleared. This helps us address the issue quickly.

Report a dirty street

Please note, fly tipping is cleared separately to street cleaning. For information on how to report fly tipping.

Weed control

Weed spraying is carried out regularly by Leicestershire County Council.

If you notice a weed problem on a public road or pavement you should report this to Leicestershire County Council as the highways authority.
