Current and scheduled elections
From 4 May 2023, voters in England will need to show photo ID to vote at polling stations in some elections, including local elections. Visit the Electoral Commission to find more information on Voter ID, such as, the accepted forms of ID and the new Voter Authority Certificate which you can apply for if needed.
