Dog incidents
Our dog warden service covers the recovery of captured dogs only. You can report these to us on 01664 502502.
The following matters can be reported to Leicestershire Police using the 101 telephone service:
Where the dog has:
- attacked a person
- been involved in a road traffic collision or accident
- been attacking livestock
If a dog has attacked another dog, this is a civil matter between the two owners of the animals to resolve themselves and unfortunately we cannot get involved.
