We are carrying out essential maintenance work on our planning portal, which mean you will be unable to search for or comment on planning applications from 5pm on Wednesday 11 December. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.
Apply for permission
Due to the high volume of applications received, householder planning applications are currently taking up to 20 weeks to process and determine. You will be contacted by your case officer if there are any issues that require amendments to be submitted.
If your application is not a householder application we will contact you directly once it has been processed with an expected determination date.
All planning applications in England need to be submitted via the Planning Portal. We recommend you do this online. If you are not able to do this online you can download the appropriate form from the Planning Portal.
All forms submitted will need to be supported by relevant documents.
Information on the documents required to be submitted and information on the applying process can be found on the planning portal website.
We do not currently have a Local Validation listed and therefore you should refer to the national validation requirements when submitting an application.
Do I need planning permission?
