Audit of Accounts year ended 31 March 2024
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 16 of the Local Government, England and Wales, The Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 and Regulation 25 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 that:
- The audit of accounts for the financial year ended 31 March 2024 has been concluded and the Statement of Accounts 2023-24 is available for inspection by any local government elector for the area of Melton Borough Council.
- Any such local government elector may make a copy thereof or an extract there from.
- A copy of the Statement of Accounts may be purchased by any person requiring them on payment of the sum of £12 per copy including postage. They are also accessible via the Council’s website (www.melton.gov.uk) under Your Council/Performance and Budgets/Statement of Accounts and will shortly be made available for inspection at Melton Library.
The above mentioned documents are available by arrangement for inspection or purchase as the case may be either by writing to Financial Services, Parkside, Station Approach, Burton Street, Melton Mowbray, LE13 1GH or by contacting customer services between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday (except Wednesdays which is between 9am and 4pm), (Telephone 01664 502502) or by email (customerservices@melton.gov.uk).
