Get involved - have your say

At Melton we believe in putting our tenants at the heart of everything we do and want you to be part of helping us with planning, delivering, and improving our services. By being an involved tenant, you would be providing us your voice and opinions which we use to shape the services we deliver to you and your community.

Below is an overview of the ways in which you can get involved with the council to give feedback and help shape services. We want you to be involved with us in a way that is convenient for you. So, whether you want to invest a couple of hours on a one-off basis or commit to something more long-term, there will be something to suit everyone.

All involvement activities feed into our Landlord Assurance Board which then feeds into wider council decision making.

Why get involved?

We are committed to ensuring that you (our tenants' and leaseholders) are happy with the services we deliver to you. To help us deliver an effective service, we want to give you as many opportunities to share your views on our housing service. By getting involved, you will help us to improve the service we provide.

Who can get involved?

If you are a Melton Borough Council tenant or leaseholder, we'd love to hear from you.

How do I get involved?

If you want to have a further discussion on how to get involved, you can contact us at involvement@melton.gov.uk or 01664 502502.  A member of the Tenant Engagement Team will be in touch.

How can I get involved?

We understand that not everyone can attend activities in person. With this in mind we have created a menu of involvement activities to accommodate for everyone. Some activities take up less time than others and some happen more frequently than others so you have the option to get involved at a time that suits you. No matter what level of commitment you can give, there is an opportunity for everyone to give their views and have their say.
