We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a background in the development and maintenance of ICT systems. The role plays a key part within the teams to help ensure the smooth running, compliance and professional provision of the Planning, Environmental Health and Licensing services.  

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden and develop their technical skills and knowledge.  

Purpose of the job 

You will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of our service systems, predominantly IDOX Uniform, LALPAC, Public Access and EDMS to include systems and security administration, business configuration, dataloads and maintenance of all Uniform modules in use, including operational documents and templates.   

As we are constantly evolving and improving our service, you will play a key part by leading on projects to enhance and upgrade the system. This will always be with a focus on improving our customer journey. You will need to extract, prepare and present departmental statistics and monitor indicators on a monthly and ad hoc basis including updating corporate monitoring systems.   

You will also be responsible for developing and delivering training and guidance for the rest of the team as required and following any upgrades or new releases.     

 

About You 

The successful candidate will be driven and motivated with an eye for detail.  You will be a team player but confident to work independently and have a flexible attitude to working under pressure. We are looking for an individual with a positive outlook and a desire to deliver a quality service to the community we serve.   

You will have a keen interest in, and demonstrable working knowledge of ICT and databases as well as hands-on experience of supporting and maintaining systems to include managing permissions, configurations and routine maintenance. You will also need knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.   

Ideally, you will be able to produce detailed reports as well as be able to maintain and update electronic information systems in accordance with data protection regulations.  

Knowledge and understanding of the work undertaken by Planning, Environmental Health and Licensing would be advantageous.
