Earlier bin collections this week

The rest of this week, we are going to start bin collections earlier than normal. This helps our crews work safely during the high temperatures.

If your collection is due Wednesday 8 July - Friday 10 July please put your bins out the night before or by 5am.

This does not effect collections on Tuesday 7 July.

Melton Mowbray has officially submitted its Expression of Interest for UK Town of Culture 2028!

This submission celebrates who we are and sets out how, as UK Town of Culture, Melton Mowbray would bring communities together around a shared cultural table. Rooted in heritage, shaped by innovation, and open to all.

This is the first step in the application process and we will hear if we are through to the next round in the coming months.
